Q. What is ChiroFusion?
A. ChiroFusion is a cloud-based electronic health records (EHR) software for chiropractors designed to maximize efficiencies for virtually every process, including patient scheduling, SOAP notes, billing, claims management, and more.
Q. Can you tell me a little more about your company?
A. ChiroFusion was founded in 2009 with the goal of helping chiropractors run more profitable and productive practices. ChiroFusion is led by a proven team with deep industry experience. As such, we fully understand the challenges faced by chiropractors when it comes to running an efficient and successful practice. Q. Do I have to sign a contract?
A. Those other guys will force you to sign a long-term contract. You’ll probably realize that you hate their software a month or two into your contact, with no way out. We like you a lot, but we’re not ready for a commitment right now. So how about we just win you back every month with an awesome product and service? Sound fair? If you should ever decide to leave us, we only ask that you provide us with 7 days written notice.
Q. How much does ChiroFusion cost?
A. ChiroFusion’s base plan costs $99 per month. There is a one-time setup fee of $495. There are no large upfront costs, hidden fees, contacts or mandatory support plans to buy. Learn more about our plans and pricing.
Q. What type of devices is ChiroFusion software compatible with?
A. Your practice data is accessible using any internet-connected device. This includes a laptop, desktop, PC, Mac, tablet and smartphone.
Q. Do you charge extra for software updates and data storage?
A. We do not charge extra for software updates and data storage. These items are included in your monthly subscription plan. Updates are usually released monthly and are installed automatically by us. You simply log into your practice and the latest update is available to you.
Q. Do you charge extra for additional users?
A. You can add an unlimited number of staff users at no cost. This includes front desk staff, CA’s, and billing personnel. There is an extra monthly charge to add additional Providers to your practice. The cost is dependent on the number and type of Providers you are wanting to add. Q. Is my data safe in the cloud?
A. ChiroFusion runs on Fortune 500 SaaS infrastructure to not only ensure your security, but also the continuous uptime of your account. Your data will be both secure from intrusion and constantly backed up, so you’ll never lose crucial information or access to your records.
Q. If I ever decide to leave you guys, what happens to my data?
A. If you are not completely satisfied, you can export your data at any time at no additional charge. You can save a copy of your data to your local computer in standard file formats, such as Comma–Separated Value (.CSV) and PDF. This provides you with the flexibility to store a backup copy of your data on your own computer or take your data with you if you ever decide to cancel your subscription. You own your data. It’s that simple!
Q. How can I get a live demo of your software?
A. We do not offer a live demo of our EHR software. We do however offer an interactive video demo of our software that showcases just how awesome our software really is. Many companies use live demos as an hour-long, high pressure sales presentation. We don’t believe in using these tactics to attract new clients.
Q. Is there any limit to the number of computers that I can run your software on?
A. You can run on software on as many computer as you like. This includes the computers in your office, at home or while traveling.
Q. Do I need any additional or special hardware to run your practice management software?
A. ChiroFusion doesn’t require any additional hardware or complicated configurations to run because it’s 100% cloud-based. You simply open your internet browser and log into your practice. It’s really that simple! Those other guys will have you purchasing new servers and configuring complicated networks with firewalls before their server-based software can even be installed.
Q. Can I submit electronic claims directly from ChiroFusion?
A. ChiroFusion is currently the only chiropractic EHR that includes an integrated clearinghouse. This integration allows you to submit e-claims and receive ERAs without ever having to leave our software. Other companies require you to sign up for an external clearinghouse account which costs extra and is time consuming to use.
Q. Am I able to use the clearinghouse of my choice to submit my electronic claims?
A. You can use the clearinghouse of your choice, but we highly recommend using Office Ally for several reasons. Our software’s interface is tightly integrated with Office Ally and can transmit e-claims and receive electronic EOBs without any additional steps. Real-time status updates for all claims are also available from within our software’s interface, so you’ll know if your claims have been accepted and processed properly. There is no additional charge for this service. Please contact Office Ally directly for additional information on their service.
Q. Can you transfer the data from my current EHR software to ChiroFusion?
A. We can transfer demographic data from your current system to ours. Medical records and accounting ledgers cannot be migrated from one system to another. We recommend exporting these from your current software and storing them in a HIPAA compliant cloud folder such as Google Drive or Dropbox.
Q. Why should I choose a cloud-based chiropractic EHR software over one that is server-based?
A. The major advantage of a cloud-based system is that there is never any software to download, install, update or maintain. Also, with cloud-based software, you can access your practice data from any internet connected device anytime, anywhere.

Q. Does ChiroFusion have a disaster recovery plan?
A. ChiroFusion has sophisticated infrastructure and procedures in place for redundancy and security. Read more about ChiroFusion’s security infrastructure here. Should you face a disaster yourself (and we hope that you don’t, but should that happen), the great news is that once you are back up and running with new network connected hardware devices, you are able to access your data once again with ChiroFusion’s cloud-based architecture.

A. This term refers to computer software that chiropractors use to track all aspects of patient care. Typically this broader term also encompasses the practice management functions of patient scheduling, documentation, billing, and claims management.
Q. Is ChiroFusion cloud-based?
A. ChiroFusion offers a 100% cloud-based electronic health records (EHR) solution for chiropractors that can be accessed from any device with an internet connection.
Q. Does ChiroFusion include patient appointment reminders?
A. We offer both email and text appointment reminders. There is no charge for unlimited email appointment reminders. Our text message reminders offer a more robust feature set including the ability to customize the time they are sent out and real-time appointment confirmations that update within the Calendar.
Q. Does ChiroFusion offer online patient scheduling software?
A. ChiroFusion is currently the only chiropractic software vendor that offers integrated online patient scheduling with TrueSync technology. Using this technology, your patients are able to schedule appointments directly from your website, social media accounts, and email signature.
Q. Does ChiroFusion offer a patient check-in kiosk?
A. ChiroFusion’s patient check-in kiosk is included with all plans. Patients can check-in quickly and easily on a tablet using a PIN code.
Q. Does your software include integrated payment processing?
A. ChiroFusion has partnered with OpenEdge payments to offer integrated payment processing. With this integration, offices can setup recurring monthly billing for wellness plans and memberships. Recurring and manual payments are automatically applied to the proper accounts to save time and reduce errors. Please contact OpenEdge directly for additional information on their services and rates.
Q. Can I upload images and documents to a patient's electronic medical record?
A. ChiroFusion supports a wide variety of image and document formats that can quickly and easily be uploaded to a patients medical record. These include items such as imaging studies, referrals, ID’s and insurance cards.

Q. What type of training to offer to new clients?
A. All clients, regardless of the plan selected, receive 5 one-hour live training sessions on our software. Our friendly and knowledgeable team will walk you through our complete system and answer any questions or concerns you have related to its use. All clients also have access to our complete series of video training tutorials that help to reinforce what is taught during our live sessions.
Q. How is training provided?
A. Live training is done through a secure, remote connection to your computer. Because our system is 100% web-based, you are able to train from any location with an internet connection.
Q. What is the learning curve for ChiroFusion? I'm not very tech savvy.
A. Our user-friendly and intuitive interface makes ChiroFusion easy to learn and use. Most offices are fully up and running within 2-3 weeks. We’re confident that you and your staff will find ChiroFusion to be one of the easiest EHR software to learn and use in your office.
Q. Can you tell me a little more about your support options?
A. ChiroFusion offers world-class support and training and has the data to prove it. Live support is available to clients with a DC Pro or DC Platinum subscription. Clients with a DC Plus subscription have access to our Help Center resources including an online user manual, video tutorials, and a FAQ section with solutions. DC Plus clients do not have access to live support.
